the job of a hero was never done. news of rowdy pokemon had been spreading and managed to reach the ears of a certain masked crusader for the safety of the region. so here he was, pokkenger in his natural element, fighting against malicious forces and showing that his justice was one that could take on a whole army of pokemon all at once! or one at a time in a turn based form of combat. either way he wasn't leaving until he managed to quell all the problems that were happening alongside this route.

the shield of a chestnaught was indeed a powerful one. not only was a solid defense but the spikes on its spiky shield always left those that didn't know what they were doing with some cuts that stung heavily as they got too close. pokkenger knew that himself, it was pretty obvious as he saw the beast bring up the shield. the superhero had only one option to use against such a tactic, one that many heroes didn't use as it went against the heroic nature of facing any kind of danger. so turning on his heels and his back facing the pokemon he started to sprint into a run. "time to skedaddle outta hereeeeeee!"

a large crab was not something he expected to see here. none the less the beast had been causing trouble so it was pokkenger's duty to subdue it. lucky for him it was pretty easy to read the moves of the pokemon what with its long large limbs that he could see coming a mile away. still getting hit by one of those things really did hurt. soon it was sent packing by a swift jab to its nose from the masked hero who simply waved it goodbye. "and don't come back!"

the conkedurr rammed its fist into the gut of the superhero that made him stumble back a few feet and double over in pain. the pokemon flexed its biceps as the human looked like he was going to fall to his knees, however kazimir, no pokkenger, was a little more resilient than that. he's been thrown around, punched, kicked, and beaten plenty enough today so one little punch like that was nothing. of course he didn't need to let the pokemon know that, so as it approached him to see its handiwork pokkenger sprang forward with a headbutt aimed right at the large head of the fighting type's.

now if he wasn't wearing a helmet this would probably backfire horribly, no way his skull could take on whatever mass of muscle that thing had on its head. but thanks to his helmet having a bit of an edge to it was enough to cause enough injury for the conkedurr to back off and stagger back a few feet of its own. the two of them glared at one another as they approached each other step by step. the tension between the two of them was as thick as soup, but quickly softened when they both extended their hands to grab one another in a firm shake and a nod. they understood and were amazed by their fighting spirit and knew they would make one hell of a team.
